Principle and Function
Working principle: The start-stop/shut-off wiring harness is usually connected in parallel with a small relay on the automatic start-stop switch wiring harness, and the release of the relay is controlled by a delay circuit. When starting the vehicle, the assistant manually holds down the switch for one second and then releases it, thereby disabling the automatic start-stop function. The installation of this type of wiring harness has no direct impact on the vehicle itself. It mainly changes the working state of the automatic start-stop function through circuit control.
Function implementation: After installing the start-stop and shut-off wiring harness, when the vehicle starts, the system will detect the presence of the wiring harness and control the automatic start-stop function to be turned on or off according to the preset logic. For instance, in some vehicle models, after installing the start-stop wiring harness, the automatic start-stop function will be turned off by default when the vehicle starts, thereby saving fuel and reducing emissions, while enhancing driving comfort and reducing the vibration and noise when the engine starts.
